Intro to Pranayama
In the words of B.K.S. Iyengar, “Prāṇāyāma is the bridge between body and mind.”
It is the art of conscious breathing - calming the nervous system, steadying the mind, and awakening inner awareness. Through the breath, we learn to move from tension to stillness, from effort to ease.
You will learn simple techniques like: Calming breath, Positive breathing, Nadi shodhana and more….

Preparation
Practice at home or any safe space.
Wear comfortable clothing.
Practice sitting upright in a chair or on a meditation cushion.

During Pranayama
Follow the instructions.
Pay attention to the subtle changes in your breathing and body.
Begin to go within…

Dos and Don'ts
Don’t practice while driving or in unsafe environments.
Do practice a few times a week.
Do sit upright make sure your spine is straight.
